# Keep natural skin texture in a headshot edit

Reject beautification drift and request a source-led correction.

Use the supplied source as authority. Check the account supports the actual file or image operation before attempting it.

## Task instruction

Edit my attached photo for softer, more even headshot lighting and a
[plain background]. Preserve the original facial proportions,
expression, apparent age, visible skin detail, hair and clothing.
Do not smooth skin into a beauty filter, remove visible lines or
add artificial pores to imply detail the source does not contain.
Keep the source pose and coverage. Return one candidate for review.

## Source boundaries

- Forehead detail
- Under-eye lines
- Cheek texture

## Review and correction

Sharper output texture may be invented. Preserve visible source features rather than asking for maximum pores.

The softer light and background are useful. In [specific region],
the candidate [removed visible source detail / added unsupported
texture / changed a facial boundary]. Use the untouched original as
the authority. Correct only that region, keeping the useful light,
expression and clothing. Do not compensate with extra sharpness or
invented pores. If the source is insufficient, say that clearly.

Use references/practice-source.json for the labelled example. The practice HTML is a local teaching tool; it does not call an AI service. Apply this method to the user's supplied facts rather than copying fictional example values. Do not infer approval or permission to publish.
