# Keep clothing and meaningful accessories accurate in a portrait

Use visible source details rather than letting a style request invent a costume.

Use the supplied source as authority. Check the account supports the actual file or image operation before attempting it.

## Task instruction

Edit my attached portrait for [specific background/light/crop].
Keep the photographed clothes: colour family, neckline, coverage,
layers and meaningful visible accessories. Preserve the person,
expression, hair and source posture. No new jacket, tie, jewellery,
logo, garment opening or invented body coverage. If a requested crop
needs unphotographed clothing or limbs, explain the limit instead.
Return one candidate for source comparison.

## Source boundaries

- Navy knit
- Round ribbed neckline
- No source jewellery

## Review and correction

Lighting changes fabric appearance; they do not authorise a new neckline, suit or jewellery.

The candidate's [light/background] is useful. It changed [specific
garment or accessory feature] from the original. Restore that visible
source feature only. Keep the face, pose, useful light and existing
crop. Do not redesign the outfit or invent the hidden side. Return
one revised file so I can check neckline, coverage and accessories.

Use references/practice-source.json for the labelled example. The practice HTML is a local teaching tool; it does not call an AI service. Apply this method to the user's supplied facts rather than copying fictional example values. Do not infer approval or permission to publish.
