# Prepare a checked headshot file for LinkedIn

Request and verify actual format, dimensions and size instead of trusting the filename.

Use the supplied source as authority. Check the account supports the actual file or image operation before attempting it.

## Task instruction

Use my selected portrait as a fixed image; do not generate a new person.
Prepare [actual required dimensions and JPG/PNG format] using ordinary
crop, resize or background padding. Keep photographed hair and person
coverage. Do not invent missing face, hair or shoulders.
Provide the actual file if this surface supports it, then report its
real encoding, width, height and byte size. Mark any unperformed check
as unperformed. I will inspect appearance and the destination crop.

## Source boundaries

- 800 × 800 export
- PNG and JPEG examples
- A PNG deliberately named .jpg

## Review and correction

The extension is not the encoding. Check the actual file and destination requirements; no LinkedIn upload was performed.

The picture is useful, but the actual file has [wrong encoding/size/
dimensions]. Keep its image content fixed and correct that export
property using an ordinary conversion. Do not regenerate the face.
Provide the new actual file and recheck type, dimensions and bytes.

Use references/practice-source.json for the labelled example. The practice HTML is a local teaching tool; it does not call an AI service. Apply this method to the user's supplied facts rather than copying fictional example values. Do not infer approval or permission to publish.
