# Prepare a clean press headshot editors can actually use

Separate portrait treatment from publication specifications.

Use the supplied source as authority. Check the account supports the actual file or image operation before attempting it.

## Task instruction

Edit my attached photo into a natural clean press headshot.
Preserve source facial proportions, expression, head angle, gaze,
hair, clothes, accessories and posture. Use soft neutral studio light
with both eyes readable, natural skin detail and a quiet off-white
backdrop. Keep complete hair and useful headroom in a head-and-shoulders
composition. No new smile, beauty makeover, outfit, hands, words or
logos. Return one actual image for source and destination checks.

## Source boundaries

- Off-white photographic setting
- Direct level expression
- Complete hair with narrow top margin

## Review and correction

A press treatment does not mean a publication has accepted the file. Check dimensions, format and the destination crop separately.

The source appearance and light are useful, but the crop has too
little space above the hair for [actual placement]. Use the untouched
source as appearance authority and add background clearance only.
Keep photographed body coverage, expression and clothes. No invented
hair or extra body. Return one candidate for another framing check.

Use references/practice-source.json for the labelled example. The practice HTML is a local teaching tool; it does not call an AI service. Apply this method to the user's supplied facts rather than copying fictional example values. Do not infer approval or permission to publish.
