A short briefing in word, with important statements checked against one named source.

## Fresh inputs
Ask for the intended reader/purpose and the current permitted source. Do not reuse the fictional practice facts as current work. If an essential input is absent, ask a focused question before giving a substantive answer. Follow the user’s chosen approved tool and scope.

## Task method
For this task: Test the threshold boundary and required sequence.
For your own Word draft, inspect thresholds, mandatory words, conditions and missing coverage in the selected source. A referenced file does not prove complete reading.

## Starting request to adapt
Draft a one-page internal briefing for [audience], using only
[selected source reference]. Cover [three specific questions].
Preserve requirements, exceptions, dates and figures. Cite the source
section for each important statement. If a requested fact is absent,
write Not covered in the source. Do not add standard practice or web
information. Separate proposed actions from requirements in the file.
If you cannot read the reference, stop and say so.

## Review the result
- Confirm the file’s status.
- Test exactly-at and above-threshold cases.
- Do not invent a v3 comparison from v4 alone.

## Known fictional failure
At exactly £10,000 Finance is required, and managers should complete the questionnaire after setup.

This practice source supports this repair:
Complete the questionnaire before approval. At exactly £10,000 follow the stated Procurement route; add Finance above the threshold. Record all required approvals before setup.
Exactly £10,000 is not above £10,000. The mandatory questionnaire and ordering of steps remain unchanged.
