# Check an AI-built form with missing and awkward inputs

Write valid and invalid examples that expose missing validation rules.

Use the supplied source as authority. Check the account supports the actual file or image operation before attempting it.

## Task instruction

Build a local form implementing these supplied rules only: [rules].
Use fictional fields/values, readable labels and specific error messages.
Prevent external submission; a valid local result is a preview, not a
saved service record. Include valid, empty, whitespace, threshold and
awkward numeric/text cases with independent expected outcomes.
Do not write tests that merely repeat your implementation's own answer.
Provide actual runnable files and state which cases were really checked.

## Source boundaries

- Owner non-blank after trim
- Quantity integer 1–20
- Optional note ≤120 code points

## Review and correction

Give independent expected cases. Browser validation improves feedback, but does not secure a real server submission.

Case [ID] with [input] is incorrectly [accepted/rejected]. The supplied
rule says [exact boundary]. Correct that validation and its field
message without adding new business restrictions. Repeat the failed
case, nearby valid case and exact boundary. Keep no-submission scope
and report actual results rather than another generic pass statement.

Use references/practice-source.json for the labelled example. The practice HTML is a local teaching tool; it does not call an AI service. Apply this method to the user's supplied facts rather than copying fictional example values. Do not infer approval or permission to publish.
