# Ask AI to expose the assumptions in a plan

Separate stated inputs, inferred dependencies and unconfirmed choices.

Use the supplied source as authority. Check the account supports the actual file or image operation before attempting it.

## Task instruction

Review this supplied plan for assumptions and dependencies.
For each material item, include exact source wording/ID, whether it is
a stated fact, a supplied assumption or a new inference, evidence state,
the consequence if wrong and a focused confirmation question/check.
Do not invent dates, owners, currencies, unique keys or approvals.
Mark absent evidence as unconfirmed. Keep your suggested interpretation
separate from the plan's own statements.

## Source boundaries

- Unique IDs assumed
- Amount/currency meaning missing
- Next Tuesday lacks reference date

## Review and correction

Ask a focused question or label an assumption before calculation. Do not bury it in a polished answer.

The log marks [item] as [incorrect state]. Source [ID] says [wording],
and the required check is not supplied. Correct its classification,
evidence state and next question. Keep the useful dependency explanation.
Do not invent a confirmation or hide the gap behind a confidence score.

Use references/practice-source.json for the labelled example. The practice HTML is a local teaching tool; it does not call an AI service. Apply this method to the user's supplied facts rather than copying fictional example values. Do not infer approval or permission to publish.
